Role Overview

Bjakcareer is hiring a Technical Product Manager to oversee a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design through delivery and launch. The position focuses on building an artificial intelligence neobank superapp for Southeast Asia that handles payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. The professional will operate in a distributed international team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own a product vertical end-to-end, covering metrics, strategy, roadmap, priorities, and delivery.
Shape technical design alongside engineering teams regarding APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, user experience, and regulatory mandates.
Integrate regulatory requirements into products, addressing KYC, transaction monitoring, privacy, limits, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence features with clear evaluation methods, safeguards, and human oversight.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and failure modes.
Experience collaborating with engineers to review and contribute to technical designs.
Background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or a regulated financial domain.
Experience building products using large language models or artificial intelligence with a focus on reliability.

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background.
Experience creating zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model powered products.
