The organization operates as artificial intelligence-native by default, focusing on creating reliable, auditable, and trusted financial applications. Candidates will work remotely within a distributed international team spanning multiple countries and time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a product vertical completely, which covers strategy, metrics, roadmaps, prioritization, and delivery.
Collaborating with engineering teams to shape technical designs concerning application programming interfaces, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balancing trade-offs related to correctness, speed, expenses, dependability, regulatory mandates, and user experience.
Integrating regulatory obligations into the product, including know-your-customer procedures, transaction monitoring, threshold limits, privacy protocols, and licensing.
Implementing artificial intelligence solutions where they genuinely enhance results, supported by evaluation metrics, safeguards, human supervision, and failure protocols.
Launching products while navigating external constraints such as regulatory permissions, financial rails, and third-party partnerships.
Coordinating engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance teams around product choices and launch criteria.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management experience, featuring oversight of complex technical products from strategy to production.
Solid technical foundation covering system architecture, application programming interfaces, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Background collaborating closely with engineers, including the capacity to review, question, and contribute to technical blueprints.
Practical background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or another regulated and high-consequence industry.
Sound product judgment to navigate difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational limitations.
History of building with large language models or artificial intelligence products, encompassing evaluation, reliability, and appropriate scoping.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product management.
Track record of creating zero-to-one financial technology or consumer products.
