Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager manages a product vertical from strategy to launch. The work involves developing payment, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading solutions that handle real money with high reliability and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmaps, and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering on technical designs involving APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balance correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulations, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory requirements such as KYC, transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing.
Apply AI with proper evaluation, safeguards, and human oversight.
Deliver products while navigating external dependencies like regulatory approvals and financial rails.
Coordinate Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance teams.

Requirements

Five or more years of product management experience overseeing technical products from strategy to production.
Technical background in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, and distributed systems.
Ability to review and challenge technical designs alongside engineers.
Experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or related regulated domains.
Experience building with LLMs or AI products, focusing on reliability and evaluation.

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience creating evaluation frameworks for machine learning or LLM-powered products.
