Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager leads a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design through delivery and launch. The position operates within an artificial intelligence-native environment that handles financial transactions, requiring adherence to strict regulatory rules, third-party financial rails, and dependable system architecture.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical completely from strategy, metrics, and roadmaps to priorities and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs covering application programming interfaces, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory demands, and user experience.
Integrate compliance measures into the product, such as know-your-customer protocols, transaction monitoring, privacy, limits, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions where they genuinely enhance results, ensuring proper evaluation, safeguards, and failure handling.
Navigate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners during product shipping.
Coordinate engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance teams around decisions and launch needs.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management experience managing complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, databases, application programming interfaces, workflows, and distributed systems.
Background working alongside engineers to challenge and contribute to technical designs.
Experience in regulated product domains like payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Product judgment for handling technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
Experience building with large language models or artificial intelligence products, including evaluation and reliability.

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background.
Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model products.
