Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager manages a product vertical from strategy and metrics through technical design, delivery, and launch. The position centers on creating reliable financial applications that handle real money while integrating artificial intelligence where it genuinely improves user outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmaps, priorities, and delivery
Collaborating with engineering teams on technical designs across APIs, data flows, ledgering, security, and scalability
Balancing trade-offs among correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulations, and user experience
Integrating compliance requirements into products, including KYC, transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing
Implementing artificial intelligence features with clear evaluation methods, safeguards, and human oversight
Launching products while navigating external dependencies such as regulatory approvals and financial rails
Aligning cross-functional groups including engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience with ownership of complex technical products from strategy to production
Technical foundation in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, and distributed systems
Background working directly with engineers to review and contribute to technical designs
Experience in regulated domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading
Product judgment for managing technical, regulatory, and operational constraints
Experience building products with large language models or artificial intelligence, focusing on reliability and evaluation

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer products
