Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager takes full ownership of a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch. The role focuses on building an AI-native financial superapp across wealth, trading, insurance, remittance, and payments for Southeast Asia. The professional balances deterministic system controls with artificial intelligence to ensure reliability, security, and trust.

Key Responsibilities

Own a complete product vertical through strategy, metrics, roadmap planning, priority setting, and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs concerning APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory demands, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory standards into product features, covering KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions with proper safeguards, evaluation, human oversight, and failure handling.
Coordinate launches around external dependencies such as regulatory approvals, third-party partners, and financial rails.
Align departments including engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance around product decisions.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience managing complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Experience collaborating closely with engineers to review and contribute to technical designs.
Background in regulated domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Product judgment for making trade-offs under operational, technical, and regulatory constraints.
Experience building AI products or large language models with a focus on reliability and evaluation.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or a highly technical product role.
Experience creating zero-to-one consumer or fintech products.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model applications.
