Role Overview

The Technical Product Manager takes full ownership of a product vertical within the financial platform. Responsibilities include defining strategy, metrics, and roadmaps while collaborating with distributed international teams to deliver reliable applications.

Key Responsibilities

Own a product vertical completely, managing strategy, roadmap, priorities, metrics, and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs covering APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory needs, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory protocols into products regarding KYC, transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions where appropriate, ensuring proper evaluation, safeguards, and failure management.
Coordinate launches around external dependencies such as financial rails, third-party partners, and regulatory approvals.
Align departments like Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance around product decisions.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, including the end-to-end ownership of complex technical products.
Solid technical foundation spanning system architecture, APIs, databases, distributed systems, and failure modes.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with engineers and contribute to technical designs.
Background in regulated domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Sound product judgment for navigating technical, operational, and regulatory limitations.
Practical experience building with large language models or artificial intelligence products, focusing on reliability and evaluation.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product management.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer goods.
Experience establishing evaluation frameworks for machine learning or LLM-driven features.
