Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead - AI Stockbroking role places the candidate in charge of an entire product vertical from initial strategy to launch. The position focuses on developing a financial superapp for Southeast Asia that incorporates payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading features using an AI-native approach.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmap, prioritization, and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams on technical designs involving APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs between correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory needs, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory obligations such as KYC, transaction monitoring, privacy, licensing, and transaction limits into product builds.
Implement AI solutions with appropriate evaluation metrics, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
Navigate external dependencies including regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partnerships.
Coordinate cross-functional groups like Engineering, Design, Compliance, Operations, Treasury, and Finance.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience with end-to-end ownership of complex technical products.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, distributed systems, and failure modes.
Experience partnering with engineers to evaluate and contribute to technical designs.
Background in regulated high-consequence domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Experience developing AI products or working with LLMs, including reliability and evaluation frameworks.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product management.
Experience launching zero-to-one consumer products or fintech solutions.
Practical experience creating evaluation frameworks for machine learning or LLM-driven features.
