Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead owns a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design through delivery and launch. The position focuses on building an AI Stockbroking Superapp for Southeast Asia covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading. The role requires balancing reliability, regulatory compliance, and third-party financial rails. Candidates work in a hybrid setup requiring at least three days per week in the local office.

Key Responsibilities

Owns a product vertical end-to-end, managing strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery.
Shapes technical design with engineering teams covering APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balances trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory needs, and user experience.
Integrates regulatory requirements into products, including KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing.
Applies AI solutions with proper evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
Ships products while navigating external dependencies such as regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.
Aligns engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance around product decisions and launch requirements.

Requirements

Five or more years of product management experience, including ownership of complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation spanning system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Experience collaborating with engineers to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs.
Background in regulated high-consequence domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Product judgment for making difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
Experience building products with LLMs or AI, including evaluation and reliability.
Strong English communication skills.

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks for machine learning or LLM-powered products.
