Role Overview

Bjakcareer seeks a Technical Product Lead to manage a specific product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to final delivery and market launch. The role involves overseeing an AI stockbroking superapp that handles financial transactions, requiring strict adherence to regulatory standards and system reliability. The position operates globally on a remote basis, requiring coordination across various international time zones and teams using English as the primary language.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical completely, covering strategy, metrics, roadmap planning, priorities, and execution.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape system architecture, covering application programming interfaces, data flows, ledgering, security, and scalability.
Balance competing demands regarding correctness, speed, cost, reliability, legal constraints, and user experience.
Integrate compliance mandates into the platform, addressing privacy, transaction monitoring, customer verification, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions where appropriate, ensuring proper evaluation methods, safety measures, and human oversight.
Coordinate multiple departments including engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management background, specifically handling complex technical software from conception to production.
Solid technical comprehension regarding system design, application programming interfaces, databases, and distributed networks.
Background in collaborating directly with software engineers to evaluate and critique technical specifications.
Prior working history in highly regulated financial domains such as banking, payments, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Demonstrated capability in handling LLMs or machine learning systems, focusing on evaluation and reliability.

Nice to Have

Background in software engineering or a highly technical product discipline.
Track record of launching zero-to-one financial technology or consumer applications.
History of designing evaluation criteria for machine learning or large language model features.
