Role Overview

The organization seeks a Technical Product Lead to direct a product vertical spanning strategy, technical design, delivery, and launch. The position centers on building reliable financial applications while determining where artificial intelligence genuinely improves user outcomes versus where deterministic systems must control operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical completely from strategy and metrics through roadmap prioritization and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs covering APIs, data flows, ledgering, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulations, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory compliance rules into products, handling privacy, licensing, transaction monitoring, and KYC procedures.
Implement artificial intelligence features with proper evaluations, human oversight, and safeguards.
Navigate external dependencies such as financial rails, third-party partners, and regulatory approvals.
Coordinate diverse internal groups including design, engineering, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management background overseeing complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation covering databases, system architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and failure modes.
Track record collaborating closely with engineers to review and challenge technical designs.
Background in regulated product spaces like banking, payments, insurance, remittance, or trading.
Judgment to navigate difficult constraints under technical, operational, and regulatory pressures.
Practical experience building AI products or large language models with a focus on reliability and evaluation.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product management.
Experience launching zero-to-one consumer or fintech products.
History of creating evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model applications.
