Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead oversees a product vertical from initial strategy and metrics to technical architecture, delivery, and public launch. The organization operates with a distributed international team where English serves as the primary working language.

Key Responsibilities

Directing a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmap priorities, and execution.
Collaborating with engineering teams to shape technical designs for APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balancing trade-offs related to correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory mandates, and user experience.
Integrating regulatory requirements such as KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing into product structures.
Applying artificial intelligence where it genuinely improves outcomes while maintaining clear evaluation, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
Launching features while navigating external dependencies like regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.
Aligning engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance stakeholders around decisions and release goals.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience managing complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Experience working alongside engineers with the ability to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs.
Background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or related regulated and high-consequence domains.
Demonstrated product judgment to navigate technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
Practical experience building with large language models or artificial intelligence products, focusing on evaluation, reliability, and appropriate boundaries.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product management.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer applications.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks specifically for machine learning or LLM-driven features.
