Role Overview

Operating within a distributed international team, the Technical Product Lead takes complete ownership of a product vertical for an AI neobank. The position encompasses every stage of development, from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch, focusing on financial infrastructure and regulated services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical end-to-end, defining the strategy, metrics, roadmap, priorities, and delivery timelines.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs covering APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balance competing priorities such as correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory demands, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory obligations into the product, addressing KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing.
Implement AI solutions with appropriate evaluation methods, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
Coordinate product launches around external constraints like regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.
Align departments including engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, including handling complex technical products from strategy to production.
Solid technical background in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Proven ability to work closely with engineers and contribute to technical designs.
Background in regulated sectors such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Sound product judgment for navigating technical, regulatory, and operational limitations.
Practical experience building with large language models or AI products, with a focus on reliability and evaluation.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or a highly technical product role.
Track record of creating zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience designing evaluation frameworks specifically for machine learning or LLM-powered applications.
