Role Overview

Bjak is seeking a Technical Product Lead to direct a product vertical end-to-end for an artificial intelligence neobank superapp operating across Southeast Asia. The professional in this position will navigate regulatory frameworks, financial rails, and artificial intelligence integration to deliver reliable financial services.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical completely from inception and strategy through execution, metrics, and launch.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs covering system architecture, application programming interfaces, security, and data flows.
Balance priorities involving operational constraints, correctness, user experience, and regulatory compliance.
Integrate regulatory standards into offerings such as know-your-customer procedures, privacy, transaction monitoring, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence features with appropriate safeguards, evaluation methods, and human oversight where it genuinely adds value.
Coordinate diverse departments including engineering, design, compliance, treasury, and finance toward shared launch goals.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management experience overseeing intricate technical offerings from strategy to production.
Technical foundation covering system workflows, distributed systems, application programming interfaces, and databases.
Background in regulated sectors such as banking, payments, insurance, trading, remittance, or similar high-consequence domains.
Practical experience developing products utilizing artificial intelligence or large language models with a focus on reliability.
Demonstrated product judgment to handle difficult trade-offs under operational and regulatory limits.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product development.
History of launching zero-to-one financial technology or consumer applications.
Experience designing evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model systems.
