Role Overview

BJAK seeks a Technical Product Lead to direct an AI Neobank Superapp vertical across Southeast Asia covering payments, wealth, trading, and insurance. The professional hired will take complete end-to-end ownership of a product vertical, managing strategy, execution, technical design, and launch requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Own a product vertical completely, covering metrics, strategy, roadmap, and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering on technical design concerning data flows, APIs, ledgering, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs involving speed, cost, regulatory compliance, correctness, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory necessities into the product, such as KYC, privacy, transaction monitoring, and licensing.
Implement AI solutions with appropriate safeguards, evaluation methods, and oversight where applicable.
Launch offerings while navigating external partners, financial rails, and regulatory approvals.
Coordinate cross-functional groups including Compliance, Finance, Engineering, Design, and Treasury.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management background overseeing complex technical products through production.
Technical foundation covering databases, system architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and failure modes.
Practical background collaborating with engineers to review and contribute to technical system designs.
Working background in high-consequence domains such as banking, payments, insurance, remittance, or trading.
Product judgment to navigate technical and regulatory limitations.
Background developing AI or LLM products with a focus on reliability and evaluation.
