Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead - AI Neobank directs an entire product vertical from initial strategy and metrics to technical design, delivery, and launch. Operating within a distributed international team, the role focuses on financial services handling real money, where regulatory compliance, system reliability, and trust are essential.

Key Responsibilities

Directing a product vertical completely, covering strategy, metrics, roadmaps, priorities, and final delivery.
Collaborating with engineering teams to shape technical designs for APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balancing trade-offs related to correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory demands, and user experience.
Incorporating regulatory mandates into products for KYC, transaction monitoring, account limits, privacy, and licensing.
Implementing artificial intelligence features with proper evaluations, safeguards, human oversight, and failure management.
Launching products while navigating external dependencies such as regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.
Unifying engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance around transparent product choices and launch criteria.

Requirements

Five or more years of product management experience, featuring accountability for complex technical products from strategy to production.
Solid technical background in system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Demonstrated capability to collaborate with engineers and evaluate technical designs.
Background in regulated high-consequence sectors like payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Sound product judgment for navigating technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
Practical experience developing solutions with large language models or artificial intelligence, incorporating evaluation and reliability principles.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product roles.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer products from scratch.
Experience establishing evaluation frameworks tailored for machine learning or LLM-powered systems.
