Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead at Bjakcareer takes charge of a complete product vertical from initial strategy and metrics to technical design, delivery, and launch. The position focuses on developing an artificial intelligence neobank superapp covering payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading across Southeast Asia. The schedule requires working from the local office at least three days per week with remote flexibility for the remaining days.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical completely, covering metrics, roadmaps, priorities, strategy, and execution.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical design regarding data flows, APIs, ledgering, security, scaling, and failure handling.
Balance choices concerning speed, cost, correctness, reliability, user experience, and regulatory mandates.
Integrate compliance measures into offerings such as transaction monitoring, privacy, licensing, and customer verification.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions responsibly with proper evaluation, oversight, and safeguards.
Navigate external constraints involving third-party partners, financial rails, and regulatory approvals.
Coordinate multiple departments including engineering, design, finance, operations, treasury, and compliance.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management background managing complex technical offerings from conception to production.
Solid technical knowledge concerning system architecture, databases, APIs, workflows, and distributed systems.
Background collaborating closely with engineers to assess and contribute to technical system designs.
Professional history within regulated domains like banking, payments, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Experience creating products utilizing artificial intelligence or large language models alongside reliability and evaluation methods.

Nice to Have

Previous engineering or highly technical product management background.
Background launching zero-to-one consumer or financial technology offerings.
Experience establishing evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model applications.
