Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead directs a product vertical completely from inception to deployment. This professional handles strategy, performance indicators, system design, execution, and deployment for financial applications managing real funds.

Key Responsibilities

Direct a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmap, prioritization, and execution.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs for application programming interfaces, data flows, ledger systems, and security.
Balance tradeoffs concerning accuracy, performance, expense, dependability, compliance, and user experience.
Integrate compliance requirements including know-your-customer protocols, transaction tracking, privacy rules, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions with proper safeguards, assessment methods, and human monitoring.
Navigate external dependencies such as regulatory authorizations and financial rails.
Coordinate engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance departments around product choices.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management background overseeing complex technical products from concept to production.
Technical foundation covering system design, application programming interfaces, databases, and distributed systems.
Background collaborating with engineers to review and contribute to technical system designs.
Experience working in regulated domains like payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Strong product decision-making abilities under regulatory and operational limitations.
Experience deploying large language models or artificial intelligence products with attention to evaluation and reliability.

Nice to Have

Engineering or deeply technical product background.
Background creating zero-to-one financial technology or consumer applications.
Experience formulating evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model applications.
