Role Overview

BJAK is hiring a Technical Product Lead for AI Investing to own a product vertical end-to-end within a mobile-first platform operating across Southeast Asia. The professional in this position will oversee strategy, outcomes, technical design, delivery, and launch for financial applications handling real money. The company operates as an AI-native organization where artificial intelligence is applied selectively alongside deterministic systems to ensure reliability, compliance, and user trust.

Key Responsibilities

Own a product vertical completely, covering strategy, metrics, roadmap, prioritization, and execution.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs involving APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balance priorities regarding correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory demands, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory compliance measures into products, including know-your-customer protocols, transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions backed by evaluation metrics, safeguards, oversight, and failure management.
Navigate external constraints such as regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partnerships during product delivery.
Coordinate cross-functional groups including engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management experience overseeing complex technical products through production.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Background collaborating closely with software engineers to review and contribute to technical system designs.
Professional history in regulated domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Experience developing artificial intelligence or large language model products, including evaluation and reliability planning.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product roles.
Track record of launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer applications.
Experience designing evaluation frameworks specifically for machine learning or large language model features.
