Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead directs a complete product vertical from initial strategy to production delivery and launch. The position focuses on building dependable systems that handle actual financial transactions while balancing regulatory needs, third-party financial rails, and artificial intelligence integration.

Key Responsibilities

Direct a product vertical end-to-end, managing strategy, metrics, roadmaps, priorities, and delivery.
Shape technical designs alongside engineering teams covering APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs regarding correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory demands, and user experience.
Incorporate regulatory mandates into product architecture such as KYC, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing.
Implement artificial intelligence where it enhances results while maintaining safeguards, evaluation, human oversight, and failure handling.
Deliver products that navigate external dependencies like regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.
Synchronize engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance functions around launch requirements and decisions.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management experience managing complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation encompassing system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Collaboration background with engineers including the capacity to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs.
Background in regulated domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Product judgment for making trade-offs under operational, technical, and regulatory constraints.
Experience developing products utilizing AI or LLMs, covering reliability, evaluation, and identifying appropriate use cases.

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background.
Background in launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience creating evaluation frameworks for machine learning or LLM-powered products.
