Role Overview

The organization seeks a Technical Product Lead to manage a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch. The position focuses on creating reliable financial products that handle real money, incorporating regulatory requirements and artificial intelligence safely.

Key Responsibilities

Take ownership of a product vertical end-to-end, covering strategy, metrics, roadmaps, priorities, and delivery.
Shape technical designs alongside engineering teams regarding APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balance considerations of correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory standards, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory needs such as know-your-customer protocols, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing into the product.
Implement artificial intelligence where it adds value, maintaining evaluation metrics, safeguards, human oversight, and failure handling.
Launch products while managing external dependencies, including regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners.
Coordinate engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance departments around product decisions and launch requirements.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, featuring ownership of complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation encompassing system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Background working alongside engineers to review, challenge, and contribute to technical designs.
Professional background in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or other regulated product domains.
Judgment to navigate difficult trade-offs under technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
Experience building with large language models or artificial intelligence products, including evaluation and reliability.
Strong English communication skills for collaborating across global teams.

Nice to Have

Engineering or highly technical product background.
Experience building zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model-powered products.
