Role Overview

BJAK is hiring a Technical Product Lead - AI Finance to oversee a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch. The position operates remotely on a global scale, collaborating with distributed international teams across multiple time zones. The professional joining this team will guide the development of an AI finance superapp focusing on payments, remittance, insurance, wealth, and trading.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical end-to-end, covering roadmap, metrics, priorities, and delivery strategy.
Collaborate with engineering to shape technical design regarding data flows, APIs, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs involving speed, correctness, cost, reliability, and regulatory constraints.
Incorporate regulatory standards into products, including transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing.
Implement AI solutions with appropriate safeguards, evaluation methods, and oversight.
Coordinate cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Design, Finance, Treasury, Operations, and Compliance.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management experience managing complex technical products.
Solid technical foundation encompassing system architecture, databases, APIs, and distributed systems.
Background collaborating closely with engineering teams to review and challenge technical designs.
Professional background in regulated sectors such as banking, payments, insurance, trading, or remittance.
Practical experience developing products using LLMs or AI with a focus on reliability and evaluation.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product roles.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer applications.
Experience creating evaluation frameworks specifically for machine learning or LLM-powered systems.
