Role Overview

BJAK is hiring a Technical Product Lead to manage an AI finance superapplication covering payments, insurance, trading, wealth, and remittance across Southeast Asia. The professional in this position will handle the complete product lifecycle from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch, balancing system reliability, regulatory compliance, and targeted artificial intelligence integration.

Key Responsibilities

Direct a product vertical completely, managing the roadmap, strategy, metrics, and priorities from conception to execution.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs concerning data flows, ledgering, APIs, security, and failure management.
Balance competing demands regarding speed, correctness, financial cost, user experience, and regulatory constraints.
Incorporate compliance requirements directly into products, addressing privacy, transaction monitoring, licensing, and customer verification.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions with proper safeguards, evaluation frameworks, and human supervision.
Coordinate diverse departments such as finance, compliance, engineering, design, and operations around launch goals.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management background, focusing on complex technical product ownership from strategy to production.
Technical background covering databases, system architecture, distributed systems, APIs, and failure modes.
Practical history collaborating with engineering teams to review and contribute to technical designs.
Domain background in regulated fields such as banking, trading, insurance, payments, or remittance.
Background developing artificial intelligence or large language model products, with a focus on reliability and evaluation.
