Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead takes charge of a product vertical from initial strategy and metrics through technical design, delivery, and public launch. The position requires balancing AI implementation with deterministic systems, ensuring reliability, regulatory compliance, and security for financial applications moving real money across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical completely, covering strategy, roadmap creation, priority setting, metrics, and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs addressing APIs, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs between delivery speed, cost, system reliability, regulatory rules, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory standards into product features, including KYC, privacy protocols, transaction monitoring, and licensing.
Implement AI features with proper safeguards, evaluation metrics, and human oversight where it genuinely benefits user outcomes.
Navigate external dependencies such as financial rails, regulatory approvals, and third-party partners during shipping.
Coordinate multiple internal functions including engineering, compliance, design, treasury, operations, and finance.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience overseeing complex technical products from strategy to production.
Solid technical background spanning system architecture, databases, APIs, distributed systems, and failure modes.
Demonstrated ability to review and challenge technical designs alongside software engineers.
Background working in regulated, high-consequence domains like payments, remittance, banking, insurance, or trading.
Experience developing products utilizing LLMs or artificial intelligence, incorporating reliability and appropriate usage boundaries.

Nice to Have

Previous engineering experience or a highly technical product background.
Background in creating zero-to-one consumer products or fintech solutions.
Experience establishing evaluation frameworks specifically for machine learning or LLM-driven features.
