Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead - AI Finance manages a complete product vertical from initial strategy and metrics to technical design and final delivery. The position suits experienced product leaders capable of navigating complex financial systems and deploying reliable artificial intelligence capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Managing a full product vertical independently, covering strategy, metrics, roadmaps, priorities, and execution.
Collaborating with engineering teams to shape technical designs addressing application programming interfaces, data flows, ledgering, security, and scalability.
Balancing trade-offs among system correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulatory compliance, and user experience.
Integrating regulatory standards into the platform for know-your-customer procedures, transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing.
Applying artificial intelligence solutions with proper safeguards, evaluation metrics, and human oversight where appropriate.
Launching products around external dependencies including financial rails, regulatory approvals, and partner integrations.
Aligning cross-functional stakeholders spanning engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance.

Requirements

Possessing five or more years of product management experience managing complex technical products from strategy through production.
Demonstrating technical knowledge covering system architecture, application programming interfaces, databases, and distributed systems.
Showing hands-on experience collaborating closely with engineering teams to review and challenge technical designs.
Bringing background experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or related regulated domains.
Applying product judgment to navigate technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
Building with large language models or artificial intelligence products while understanding evaluation, reliability, and system boundaries.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product development.
Experience launching zero-to-one consumer or financial technology products.
Experience defining evaluation frameworks tailored for machine learning or large language model applications.
