Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead - AI Finance manages a specific product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch. The position focuses on creating an AI Finance Superapp covering payments, insurance, wealth, trading, and remittance across Southeast Asia. The organization operates globally with a distributed team spanning multiple time zones.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical end-to-end, encompassing strategy, metrics, roadmaps, priorities, and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs for APIs, data flows, ledgering, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs involving correctness, speed, cost, reliability, regulation, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory requirements into products, addressing KYC, transaction monitoring, privacy, and licensing.
Implement AI solutions with proper evaluation, safeguards, and failure handling where appropriate.
Launch products while coordinating external dependencies, third-party partners, and regulatory approvals.
Align departments including engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience handling complex technical products from strategy to production.
Technical foundation covering system architecture, APIs, databases, workflows, and distributed systems.
Background collaborating with engineers to review and contribute to technical designs.
Domain experience in payments, banking, remittance, insurance, trading, or related regulated areas.
Product judgment to navigate technical, regulatory, and operational constraints.
Experience constructing products with LLMs or AI, including evaluation and reliability measures.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product development.
Experience launching zero-to-one fintech or consumer products.
Experience establishing evaluation frameworks for machine learning or LLM-driven products.
