Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead at bjakcareer manages a product vertical from initial strategy and technical design through delivery and launch. The position focuses on building reliable, auditable, and trusted financial products that integrate artificial intelligence responsibly alongside deterministic systems.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs concerning application programming interfaces, data flows, ledgering, reconciliation, failure handling, security, and scalability.
Balance competing demands involving correctness, execution speed, financial costs, reliability, regulatory mandates, and user experience.
Integrate regulatory obligations into the product, covering customer verification, transaction monitoring, limits, privacy, and licensing.
Apply artificial intelligence where it genuinely improves results, maintaining clear evaluation methods, safety guards, human oversight, and failure protocols.
Navigate external constraints such as regulatory approvals, financial rails, and third-party partners during product shipment.
Coordinate engineering, design, compliance, operations, treasury, and finance teams around unified product choices and launch criteria.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management experience, featuring direct ownership of complex technical products from strategic conception to production.
Solid technical foundation encompassing system architecture, application programming interfaces, databases, workflows, failure modes, and distributed systems.
Demonstrated collaboration with software engineers, including the capability to review, challenge, and contribute directly to technical blueprints.
Background working in regulated and high-consequence domains such as payments, banking, remittance, insurance, or trading.
Sound product judgment to execute difficult trade-offs under operational, regulatory, and technical limitations.
Practical experience constructing applications using large language models or artificial intelligence, including performance evaluation, reliability, and recognizing system limitations.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or a highly technical product discipline.
Track record of creating zero-to-one financial technology or consumer applications.
