Role Overview

Bjakcareer is developing an artificial intelligence finance superapp focused on Southeast Asia, covering wealth, trading, insurance, remittance, and payments. The Technical Product Lead takes complete charge of a specific product vertical from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and launch. The position emphasizes reliability, regulatory compliance, and proper integration of deterministic systems alongside artificial intelligence.

Key Responsibilities

Directing a product vertical from strategy and metrics through roadmap prioritization and production delivery.
Collaborating with engineering teams to shape technical designs covering system scalability, security, failure handling, reconciliation, ledgering, data flows, and APIs.
Balancing trade-offs among regulatory demands, user experience, correctness, cost, speed, and reliability.
Integrating regulatory rules directly into the product for licensing, privacy, transaction monitoring, and customer identification.
Implementing artificial intelligence capabilities with appropriate safeguards, evaluation methods, human oversight, and failure management.
Navigating external dependencies including financial rails, third-party partners, and regulatory approvals.
Coordinating cross-functional teams across finance, treasury, operations, compliance, design, and engineering.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of product management background managing complex technical products from concept to production.
Solid technical competence regarding distributed systems, failure modes, workflows, databases, APIs, and system architecture.
Demonstrated capability to collaborate with engineers and participate in technical design reviews.
Background in regulated sectors such as trading, insurance, remittance, banking, or payments.
Sound product judgment for handling operational, regulatory, and technical constraints.
Practical background deploying large language models or artificial intelligence solutions with attention to reliability and evaluation.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or deeply technical product management.
Track record of creating zero-to-one consumer or financial technology offerings.
Experience establishing evaluation frameworks for machine learning or large language model applications.
