Role Overview

The Technical Product Lead at bjakcareer operates within a distributed global team to develop an artificial intelligence financial application covering insurance, payments, remittance, wealth, and trading. The person in this position takes complete ownership of a product vertical, steering everything from initial strategy and technical design to delivery and final launch while balancing regulatory demands and core system reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage a product vertical completely from strategy, metrics, and roadmaps to priorities and delivery.
Collaborate with engineering teams to shape technical designs involving APIs, data flows, ledgering, security, and scalability.
Balance trade-offs regarding system correctness, speed, cost, reliability, user experience, and regulatory mandates.
Integrate compliance parameters into products including privacy rules, transaction monitoring, licensing, and customer verification.
Implement artificial intelligence solutions equipped with proper evaluation metrics, human oversight, and safety guards.
Launch products while coordinating external factors such as regulatory approvals, third-party partners, and financial rails.
Facilitate alignment across finance, treasury, operations, compliance, design, and engineering departments.

Requirements

Minimum of five years of product management background managing complex technical products from strategy to production.
Solid technical foundation covering system architecture, databases, APIs, distributed workflows, and failure handling.
Proven capacity to collaborate directly with engineers to challenge and contribute to technical system designs.
Background working in high-consequence or regulated domains such as banking, insurance, payments, trading, or remittance.
Demonstrated product judgment for navigating difficult constraints under technical and operational limits.
Practical experience developing solutions using artificial intelligence or large language models with a focus on reliability.

Nice to Have

Background in engineering or highly technical product development.
Prior experience launching zero-to-one consumer or fintech products.
Experience designing evaluation frameworks specifically for machine learning or large language model applications.
