Role Overview

As a Tech Talent Acquisition Specialist, the professional drives the growth of Mistral AI by collaborating with hiring managers to source and secure elite candidates in Science, Product, and Engineering. This early team member establishes foundational recruitment practices within a fast-moving, competitive environment. The role requires managing international hiring initiatives while embracing regular onsite collaboration at the Paris office to foster strong team connections.

Key Responsibilities

Source and engage high-potential candidates across multiple geographies and functional areas.
Manage the entire candidate journey to provide a clear, responsive, and top-tier experience.
Collaborate with hiring managers to establish role criteria, align on priorities, and streamline interview loops.
Solve challenging hiring needs across various locations with speed and precision.
Utilize recruitment data to spot trends, fix workflow inefficiencies, and optimize processes.
Propose and deploy workflow improvements, documentation updates, and tool enhancements.
Work cross-functionally to raise the bar for hiring effectiveness and candidate satisfaction.
Construct scalable systems and recruitment best practices for rapid organizational growth.
Represent the organization externally and internally as a true cultural ambassador.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years of recruiting background, ideally within tech, competitive, or fast-growth settings.
Extensive expertise in sourcing and hiring for scientific or technical positions.
Capability to independently execute and own searches in highly competitive talent markets.
Data-focused mindset with the ability to analyze metrics for process optimization.
International hiring experience combined with fluent English communication skills.
Strong stakeholder management skills to advise and build consensus with senior leaders.
Hands-on execution abilities, balancing high-level strategy with organized operational discipline.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with modern Applicant Tracking Systems such as Ashby.
Experience utilizing LinkedIn search methodologies.
Knowledge of scheduling tools like Modernloop.
Exposure to AI-driven productivity software.
