About this role

Running the day-to-day machinery of sales operations involves tracking customer engagement milestones, coordinating bid submissions and stage-gate approvals, and keeping pipeline data accurate. As an operational partner to the local Multi Domain Lead, the chosen candidate prepares materials for priority customer meetings, manages deliverable timelines, and connects the Australian team into global operational rhythms in the UK and Europe.

Helsing operates as a defence AI company dedicated to protecting democracies and achieving technological leadership. The Canberra-based team focuses on Multi Domain campaign pursuits across Australia and the Indo-Pacific, requiring someone who can remove operational friction and build disciplined, scalable foundations for regional growth. Candidates who thrive here enjoy coordinating complex projects, translating raw operational data into clear updates, and collaborating across international time zones.

What you will do

  • Support the local Multi Domain Lead by tracking actions to closure and preparing materials for customer meetings.
  • Manage the internal mechanics of active pursuits by coordinating technical, commercial, and finance inputs for scheduled bid submissions.
  • Coordinate stage-gate approvals with Commercial, Finance, and Legal to meet governance requirements without delaying deal velocity.
  • Manage the interface with UK and global functions to meet central reporting and governance cadences.
  • Establish lightweight tracking systems for customer engagements and run weekly pipeline reviews for the Australian Multi Domain business.

What you need

  • Coordinate complex projects, bids, or sales pursuits within business operations, consulting, or a defence environment.
  • Maintain pipeline trackers, governance packs, and action logs with careful attention to detail.
  • Translate raw operational data into clear written updates and decision-ready materials for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborate across time zones to keep work moving with colleagues in the UK, Europe, and Australia.
  • Demonstrate an interest in learning defence sales operations fundamentals and growing into broader operational or commercial responsibilities.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with defence procurement, military bid gates, or government contracting in Australia and the Indo-Pacific
  • Australian citizenship, with eligibility to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance such as Baseline or NV1
  • Experience administering CRM and pipeline tooling like Salesforce or HubSpot

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and VSOP options
  • Relocation support of up to €2,500 and 4 weeks temporary accommodation
  • Learning allowance of €500/£450 yearly
