Role Overview

The Strategic Finance, GTM role places the right candidate at the heart of the business, where growth is directly tied to customer usage. Reporting into the finance team and partnering closely with GTM leadership, the position involves making critical decisions regarding pricing, margins, and capacity that influence the overall direction of the company.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting workflows specifically for the GTM organization.
Develop and update financial models covering revenue, sales and marketing expenditures, headcount, and strategic investments.
Evaluate key usage-based business metrics including annual recurring revenue, gross margins, consumption patterns, retention, and go-to-market efficiency.
Collaborate with GTM leaders to establish targets, assess growth strategies, formulate pricing models, and design sales compensation plans.
Assist in creating board materials, updates for investors, and financial analyses for fundraising.
Enhance financial reporting, operational dashboards, and overall rigor to support rapid revenue scaling.
Translate ambiguous business questions into clear, actionable insights through cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
Possess between three and seven years of professional experience across strategic finance at high-growth enterprises, private equity or venture capital investing, or investment banking.
Demonstrate exceptional analytical capabilities and financial modeling proficiency.
Exhibit the ability to distill complex data into straightforward recommendations for executive leadership.
Thrive as a generalist within a fast-paced environment while maintaining strong attention to detail, ownership, and execution skills.
Bring advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel, complemented by strong communication and presentation abilities.
Show high intellectual curiosity regarding artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and developer tools.

Nice to Have

Background in sales finance or designing sales compensation.
Prior sector experience in SaaS, AI/ML, or cloud infrastructure.
Working knowledge of BI tools or SQL.
