Defense is seeking a Staff Web Designer, UI/UX to join the Marketing team in Washington, D.C. This full-time employee position is ideal for a senior individual contributor who can seamlessly blend strategic concept development with hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the creation and deployment of integrated brand campaigns across multiple touchpoints.
Partner directly with the Director of Brand and Creative to translate campaign goals into distinct visual concepts.
Shape creative briefs, establish visual direction, and build cohesive systems for internal designers and external partners.
Own high-visibility design projects while delivering hands-on support and creative feedback.
Collaborate closely with copywriters, video teams, marketers, and external partners to unify messaging and visuals.
Navigate demanding timelines, present design decisions, and incorporate feedback while maintaining high quality standards.

Requirements

Strong judgment, exceptional design craft, and a proactive bias toward action.
Ability to transition smoothly between early conceptual exploration and final production.
Experience working within integrated marketing teams and managing high-visibility creative projects.
