About this role
Suno is building a creative entertainment platform designed to bring the joy of music making to a global audience, ranging from everyday users to Grammy-winning artists using Suno Studio. The organization requires a Staff or Senior Staff Technical Program Manager to establish the program foundation for the expanding Security team. In this capacity, the individual will shape cross-functional structures, starting with Vulnerability Management and Security by Design, while partnering alongside Engineering, Research, Legal, and IT.
This newly created function exists because security initiatives are scaling rapidly across processes, technology, and programs without an existing dedicated program lead. The successful candidate possesses deep technical program management experience, a history of building durable programs from scratch, and the cross-functional influence required to align teams and drive complex initiatives to completion.
What you will do
- Drive Suno's Vulnerability Management program end-to-end through intake, prioritization, remediation tracking, and verified closure with Engineering.
- Stand up Safety and Security by Design as a repeatable program featuring clear processes, checklists, launch gates, and cross-team accountability.
- Own security roadmaps and planning artifacts by translating risk priorities into tracked plans with assigned owners and milestones.
- Track incident response follow-ups and post-incident corrective actions until verification of resolution is complete.
- Build audit-readiness tracking mechanisms that map requirements to owners and evidence across multiple teams.
- Serve as the connective tissue between Security, Engineering, Research, and Legal by surfacing blockers and sequencing dependencies.
- Partner with IT to establish processes, tracking systems, and operating cadences that IT can manage independently.
What you need
- Bring 10 or more years of technical program management experience, including significant work running security, infrastructure, or platform programs within a fast-growing engineering organization.
- Demonstrate a track record of building durable, repeatable programs from scratch such as vulnerability management, secure development lifecycle, or launch reviews.
- Possess sufficient technical depth to engage credibly with security and software engineers regarding vulnerabilities, remediation trade-offs, and system dependencies.
- Utilize strong influence skills to drive outcomes across teams without having direct management authority.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting security compliance or audit programs from the program side.
- Experience setting up IT operational processes, tooling, or service management practices.
- Prior experience as the first or founding TPM in a security organization, or interest in growing into a program management leadership role as the team scales.
Benefits
- Offers Equity
