Role Overview

As a Staff Technical Program Manager for Managed Intelligence at Crusoe, the individual will connect model engineering, cloud infrastructure, product development, and data center operations. This role focuses on delivering a reliable and scalable inference platform while shaping the technical program management frameworks from the ground up in a rapidly growing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Own multi-quarter release planning, dependency governance, and executive communication across the Managed Inference platform.
Drive high-risk program management initiatives, including model version rollouts, inference optimization campaigns, SLA readiness for new GPU hardware, and multi-tenant capacity planning.
Coordinate across model engineering, infrastructure, cloud foundations, data center operations, and external model providers to keep initiatives unblocked.
Identify proactive risks across model serving, reliability, capacity constraints, and vendor timelines before they impact delivery.
Build lightweight, scalable technical program management frameworks, maintain real-time execution dashboards, and deliver data-driven executive updates.
Lead pre-launch planning for model onboarding on new GPU generations, covering firmware, driver readiness, stack validation, and commissioning criteria.
Align cross-functional engineering, product, and operations leadership without direct authority.

Requirements

Seven or more years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in fast-paced technical environments with a history of end-to-end program ownership.
Working familiarity with LLM inference, model serving, batching strategies, quantization approaches, and performance tradeoffs at production scale.
Experience with multi-tenant systems, including isolation, quota management, and SLA enforcement.
Awareness of fine-tuning and alignment workflows to govern timelines and technical risks.
Proven ability to build execution models in unstructured environments and secure team adoption.
Exceptional written and verbal executive communication skills for clear, decision-oriented updates.
Active, daily use of AI tools to enhance program execution, risk detection, and communication.
Strong cross-functional influence to drive alignment across technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

Experience working with teams building platforms or services for AI inference or training.
Direct experience governing model onboarding programs across GPU generations, including firmware, driver, and stack validation.
Experience coaching or mentoring junior technical program managers in high-growth settings.
Exposure to multi-site or globally distributed engineering teams.
Background at a Series D to Series F company or within an AI infrastructure team at a hyperscaler.
