About this role
Bridging the gap between machine learning research and production requires robust infrastructure that can handle generative AI and machine learning workloads at global scale. GoDaddy needs a Staff Software Engineer to lead the design and evolution of the platforms and services that enable these models to run reliably for millions of entrepreneurs worldwide. Working closely with machine learning scientists, data engineers, and product teams, this person will shape the future of the machine learning platform while driving engineering excellence.
This is a hands-on technical leadership position focused on distributed systems, cloud architecture, and GPU infrastructure management. A successful candidate brings deep expertise in Python, Go, or TypeScript, combined with a strong background in operating large-scale production environments on AWS. Engineers who enjoy mentoring distributed teams, influencing system architecture, and solving complex scalability challenges will thrive in this role.
