About this role

Deepgram builds real-time APIs for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and production-grade voice agents that power the emerging voice AI economy. The organization needs a Staff Product Analyst to transition from a single-product transcription company into a comprehensive voice AI platform. As the founding analyst, this individual will establish the measurement infrastructure, build analytics pipelines, and design experimentation frameworks for product-led growth.

Working alongside product managers, designers, and engineers, the person in this role will focus heavily on optimizing the funnel from initial signup to the first programmatic API or SDK request. Success requires balancing deep hands-on technical work with strategic pattern recognition across a multi-product portfolio. An ideal candidate thrives in ambiguity, embraces an AI-first operating rhythm, and brings the seniority needed to shape product strategy and data literacy.

What you will do

  • Own the analytics strategy for product-led growth by designing experiments and building measurement infrastructure.
  • Build robust analytics pipelines and dashboards from the ground up using Superset and Heap Analytics.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales analytics partners to connect product usage signals with downstream revenue outcomes.
  • Surface patterns in product usage across a growing product portfolio to identify high-value customer segments and use cases.
  • Serve as an analytical partner to product leadership by translating complex findings into actionable roadmap recommendations.
  • Establish experimentation best practices and mentor product managers on data literacy as the team scales.

What you need

  • Bring staff-level expertise in product analytics with a proven ability to lead analytics strategy.
  • Demonstrate a track record of accelerating product-led growth at previous companies, particularly with developer-focused products.
  • Possess strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working directly with data warehouses.
  • Demonstrate the ability to build dashboards and analytics infrastructure independently without relying on a data engineering team.
  • Have deep experience designing, running, and analyzing experiments with strict statistical rigor.
  • Understand developer behavior, API and SDK adoption patterns, and the signals that matter for programmatic usage.
  • Show experience operating as the founding analyst on a team with comfort building systems from scratch.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Superset and Heap Analytics or similar tools like Mixpanel, Amplitude, Looker, and Mode
  • Background in B2B SaaS with both product-led growth and enterprise motions
  • Understanding of multi-product portfolio dynamics and usage-based pricing models
  • Expertise in advanced statistical methods such as causal inference, cohort analysis, and time-series analysis
  • Experience working in voice AI, machine learning platforms, or developer tools
