Defense is hiring a full-time Staff Engineer, AI Factory in Washington, D.C. to build automated testing frameworks and analytics tools for intelligent systems. This hands-on position suits an experienced software professional looking to scale verification processes for AI pilot behaviors across an extensive portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks, log analysis tools, and scenario-generation scripts.
Navigate complex environment boundaries between secure GovCloud and commercial ecosystems by managing dependency migrations and source-mirroring pipelines.
Write Python-based analytics libraries and create custom wrappers around the HMP Forge test orchestrator.
Programmatically generate intricate testing environments using domain randomization.
Protype and deploy distributed testing technologies on top of the Forge Server for large-scale batch-testing operations.
Translate raw simulation telemetry into structured, high-fidelity insights while preserving mainline branch stability.

Requirements

Experience developing automated testing frameworks and software tools.
Background in tackling deep build-system challenges across isolated networks.
Ability to handle secure GovCloud and commercial ecosystem boundaries.
