Key Responsibilities

Build and refine Media Mix Models and Multi-Touch Attribution systems to measure the incremental impact of marketing spend.
Create unified frameworks that optimize marketing for both advertiser acquisition and user growth.
Design complex incrementality testing, geo-holdout experiments, and methodologies to measure brand marketing impact.
Collaborate with Finance, Marketing, and Growth teams to turn complex insights into strategic budget adjustments.
Mentor junior scientists and establish statistical rigor and code quality standards across the organization.

Requirements

Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or another quantitative field.
Minimum of 10 years of industry experience for Master's holders, or 6 years for Ph.D. holders, in marketing science, econometrics, or growth data science.
Deep understanding of the marketing ecosystem, including Media Mix Modeling, Customer Lifetime Value prediction, and Incrementality Testing.
Advanced proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.
Experience in building production-grade data pipelines and applying machine learning for predictive modeling tasks like churn prediction or lead scoring.
Strong strategic communication abilities to influence C-suite stakeholders and translate statistical concepts into business strategy.
Ability to thrive in fast-paced settings while navigating ambiguity to build frameworks from scratch.

Nice to Have

Experience utilizing causal inference libraries or Bayesian structural time series.
Background working within a social media platform or a high-growth marketplace.
Enthusiasm for the Reddit community and familiarity with the Ads-as-Content philosophy.
