About this role

The Global Customer Enablement Practice at Databricks builds and scales partner-driven customer enablement business models to accelerate user growth and training revenue for data and AI technologies. Operating globally, the team focuses on expanding partnership models, commercial offerings, training curricula, and operational standards to drive non-linear learner adoption across enterprise ecosystems.

The Senior Staff Enablement Partnership Lead serves as the single-threaded owner for global partnership strategies, orchestrating alignment across legal, finance, curriculum development, and regional go-to-market teams. Responsibilities include defining multi-year partnership visions, establishing global operating models with rules of engagement, and designing commercial terms and SKUs that foster partner profitability. Ideal candidates bring extensive background in global partner management, P&L ownership, and data or AI domain expertise to successfully scale enablement frameworks without direct authority.

What you will do

  • Drive the multi-year partnership vision and strategy with stretch targets while developing appropriate architecture and governance programs.
  • Establish global operating models and rules of engagement with partner leadership to minimize cross-regional channel conflict.
  • Own SKU structures, pricing, commercial terms, and global go-to-market frameworks for partner products to drive learner and training revenue.
  • Lead end-to-end enablement programs encompassing curriculum, certification, and readiness for global partners.
  • Drive internal cross-functional execution across curriculum delivery, legal, commercialization, training operations, and go-to-market enablement.
  • Develop and uplevel regional partnership resources by setting capability models and adoption standards.
  • Define and champion the application of artificial intelligence to scale partner and organizational success across regions.

What you need

  • Bring over ten years of experience leading global partner management, partner sales, or education and training business development within an enterprise software or cloud company.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of owning a global P&L, defining ambiguous multi-year strategies, and managing education or enablement books of business.
  • Possess deep expertise in partnership models such as authorized training providers, global system integrators, and intellectual property licensing or royalties.
  • Show a proven ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority while maintaining strong executive presence with leadership.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of data and AI architecture like lakehouse systems alongside an AI-forward mindset for scaling enablement.
