Key Responsibilities

Own the complete technical strategy for assigned accounts, moving from discovery to production deployment and consumption growth.
Lead complex architecture discussions focused on scalable, production-grade solutions across data engineering, ML and AI, and real-time analytics.
Act as a trusted technical advisor to customer architects, engineering leads, and directors.
Secure technical wins in competitive environments by showing differentiation through custom-built solutions.
Build and declare an emerging technical specialization archetype to serve as a resource for the team.
Coordinate cross-functional resources including data specialists, solution specialists, and partners to deliver comprehensive customer solutions.
Provide structured feedback regarding customer requirements and competitive gaps to influence product direction.

Requirements

Six or more years of experience in solutions architecture, data engineering, technical pre-sales, or a senior hands-on technical role.
Strong coding proficiency in Python and SQL, including the ability to demonstrate live coding, debugging, and solution-building skills.
Deep expertise in distributed data systems architecture, such as scalable pipelines, streaming architectures, lakehouse patterns, and cloud-native data platforms.
Proficiency on the Databricks Platform or a demonstrated ability to achieve rapid proficiency, along with a developing specialization in areas like real-time streaming, ML and AI, data governance, or migrations.
Ability to lead architecture sessions with senior technical stakeholders through whiteboarding, design reviews, and trade-off analysis.
Experience with public cloud production deployments on AWS, Azure, or GCP, encompassing infrastructure, security, and governance.
Demonstrated success in driving platform adoption and consumption growth.
Strong communication skills to convey complex architectures as business value to technical and executive audiences.
Fluency in both French and English.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative discipline, or equivalent experience.
