About this role

Databricks builds a unified data and AI platform that over 20,000 organizations use to scale analytics, machine learning applications, and intelligent agents. The Digital Native Business team operates at the intersection of technical strategy, executive engagement, and complex architecture to drive platform adoption for key accounts.

Technical leaders in this capacity shape data and AI strategies for strategic accounts by architecting multi-workload platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale migrations. What you will do

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on enterprise data and artificial intelligence strategy while owning senior-level technical relationships.
  • Lead complex architecture engagements including multi-workload platforms, real-time systems, and large-scale data migrations.
  • Develop and execute competitive positioning strategies against incumbent and emerging platforms.
  • Orchestrate cross-functional teams including data science specialists, solution architects, partners, and product groups to deliver enterprise solutions.
  • Coach and develop junior solutions architects on technical depth, engagement practices, and use case prioritization.

What you need

  • Bring 8 or more years of experience in solutions architecture, principal engineering, technical pre-sales leadership, or a senior customer-facing technical role.
  • Demonstrate expert-level coding proficiency in Python and SQL, alongside familiarity with Spark or PySpark.
  • Possess deep expertise in enterprise data architecture, distributed systems at scale, streaming frameworks, lakehouse design patterns, and cloud-native platforms.
  • Hold expert-level knowledge of the Databricks Platform or equivalent depth in competing technologies with rapid learning capabilities.
  • Show a proven track record of driving consumption growth, platform adoption, and competitive displacements in large accounts.
  • Exhibit executive presence with the ability to influence directors, vice presidents, and C-level stakeholders.

Nice to have

  • Databricks certifications
  • Prior experience at Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, Google, Microsoft, or a top-tier data/AI company
  • Published thought leadership such as blogs, conference talks, or open source contributions
