The Customer Experience organization at CoreWeave supports the infrastructure that powers the AI revolution by working across data centers, hardware systems, and customer workloads to maintain the integrity of the cloud platform. Operating as a Specialist Field Engineer, the individual will serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers running AI workloads at scale, establishing strong technical relationships and ensuring their success with cloud infrastructure offerings. The person in this role will engage hands-on across the entire customer lifecycle, from building Kubernetes environments and developing proofs of concept to onboarding and optimizing workloads.

Success in this position requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts for diverse audiences, collaborate with product and engineering teams, and drive technical leadership during customer meetings and workshops. What you will do
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers to establish strong technical relationships and ensure success with CoreWeave's cloud infrastructure offerings.
- Collaborate closely with customers to understand unique business needs and create, prototype, and deploy tailored solutions.
- Lead proof of concept initiatives to showcase the value and viability of CoreWeave's solutions within specific environments.
- Act as a virtual member of the Kubernetes product and engineering teams by identifying opportunities for product enhancement and collaborating on solutions.
- Conduct periodic technical reviews and assessments of customer workloads to pinpoint optimization opportunities.
- Lead the prototyping and initiation of research and development efforts for emerging products and solutions.
- Represent CoreWeave at conferences and industry events with occasional travel as required.
What you need
- Hold a B.S. in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or have equivalent experience.
- Bring 7+ years of proven experience as a Solutions Architect, Field Engineer, Engineer, Researcher, or Technical Account Manager in Cloud Infrastructure.
- Demonstrate expertise focused on scalable Kubernetes solutions and building distributed systems or HPC/cloud services.
- Possess fluency in cloud computing concepts, architecture, and technologies with hands-on implementation experience.
- Show a proven track record of building customer relationships and communicating complex technical concepts clearly.
- Maintain familiarity with NVIDIA GPUs typically used in AI/ML applications and associated technologies such as Infiniband and NCCL.
- Have experience running large-scale AI/ML training and inference workloads on technologies like Slurm and Kubernetes.

- Experience with building solutions across multi-cloud environments
- Client or customer-facing publications or talks on latency, optimization, or advanced model-server architectures

What is the compensation range for this role?
The base salary range for this role is $182,000 to $242,000. In addition to base salary, the total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
