About this role

Organizations adopting generative AI struggle to connect disparate enterprise knowledge across platforms securely without custom implementation cycles. Glean addresses this gap with its Work AI ecosystem and Enterprise Graph, requiring technical expertise to guide prospective customers through complex deployments.

Operating within the UK and Ireland go-to-market organization, this role functions as a trusted technical advisor supporting local sales teams and partners. The person in this position will deliver interactive demonstrations, scope and execute proof of value exercises, and connect Glean to major decision-making platforms like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Slack.

Success in this function requires a strong technical background rather than a traditional pre-sales profile. Candidates who combine deep analytical problem-solving abilities with customer-facing communication skills will thrive while helping future-forward enterprises navigate their initial generative AI journeys.

What you will do

  • Perform interactive demonstrations of the Glean platform to prospective enterprise customers.
  • Educate technical teams of prospective clients on the underlying architecture and mechanics of the platform.
  • Scope and execute sponsored pilot and Proof of Value exercises to validate technical requirements and business objectives.
  • Train customers and partners on product usage to ensure ongoing operational success.
  • Present platform capabilities at company-sponsored industry events.
  • Liaise directly with product managers and engineers to investigate issues and submit feature requests.

What you need

  • Possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or have equivalent practical work experience.
  • Bring at least 5 years of professional experience in enterprise software pre-sales using value-based discovery frameworks.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills capable of addressing complex technical challenges.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly in layman’s terms to diverse audiences including customers, prospects, and partners.
  • Maintain familiarity with cloud infrastructure platforms such as GCP, AWS, and Azure.
  • Understand identity services, Single Sign-On providers, and related protocols including Azure/Entra ID, Okta, SAML, SCIM, and OIDC.
  • Work comfortably with APIs to send and receive data from endpoints and troubleshoot related integration issues.
  • Apply knowledge of core security concepts and tools such as firewalls, VPNs, SSL/TLS, DLP, WAFs, and proxies.

Benefits

  • Medical coverage
  • Dental coverage
  • Generous time-off policy
  • Pension plan contribution opportunities
