About this role

Role Overview

Deepgram is seeking a Solutions Architect to join the Applied Engineering team in San Francisco. This role focuses on solving complex technical challenges, owning post-sales customer engagements, and building scalable support infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Manage complete post-sales customer engagements by delivering direct technical guidance and solutions.
Serve as an escalation point to lead the technical resolution of sophisticated customer support issues.
Design and implement systematic enhancements to support processes and underlying infrastructure.
Build automated solutions and self-service tools addressing common user challenges.
Review support ticket patterns to uncover product improvement opportunities and preventative measures.
Produce technical documentation, guides, and best practices allowing customers to self-solve issues.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to advocate for customer needs and influence product roadmaps.
Participate occasionally in implementation projects and pre-sales activities.

Requirements

Three or more years of experience working in technical support, solutions engineering, or related customer-facing technical roles.
Strong software engineering background with professional development experience in a modern programming language such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, Rust, C, or C++.
Experience in developing automation solutions and enhancing technical processes.
Proven capability to troubleshoot complex technical issues within production environments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical ideas clearly.
Must be based in San Francisco, California.

Nice to Have

Familiarity with speech recognition, Natural Language Processing (NLP), or related artificial intelligence technologies.
Knowledge of major cloud platforms including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure.
Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Background working with API-first products and developer tools.
Experience with support automation techniques and tools.
