Key Responsibilities

Take full ownership of the Capacity product, handling everything from scoping and design to implementation and iterative improvements based on internal feedback.
Collaborate closely with the Capacity, Sales, and SRE departments to turn complex operational demands into clean, ergonomic product experiences.
Design, build, and maintain comprehensive full-stack features, including user interfaces, backend services, and APIs across the Capacity toolchain.
Spot manual processes and workflow bottlenecks throughout the capacity lifecycle, eliminating them through smart automation and software solutions.
Implement robust monitoring and observability to catch and address potential issues proactively before they turn into incidents.
Coordinate alongside Infrastructure and SRE teams to guarantee that the Capacity platform accurately mirrors the actual operational state of the fleet.

Requirements

Hold a Bachelor's degree or a more advanced qualification in Computer Science or a closely related discipline.
Bring five or more years of professional software engineering experience, including significant tenure owning internal platforms or products from start to finish.
Demonstrate strong full-stack capabilities, specifically with JavaScript, NextJS, Tailwind, Postgres or Drizzle, and AWS.
Prove a track record of collaborating successfully with non-engineering partners to interpret needs and guide product choices.
Possess background experience in crafting internal tooling, developer infrastructure, or operational platforms, particularly within infrastructure-heavy or fast-growing environments.
Exhibit a strong sense of ownership to identify what is broken, take action to fix it, and follow through to completion.

Nice to Have

Prior experience working with SST.dev.
An interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning infrastructure.
Familiarity with capacity planning or GPU infrastructure.
