Role Overview

As a Software Engineer, AI at Pylon, the selected candidate will focus on building features that help post-sales teams run operations more efficiently through artificial intelligence. Key Responsibilities

Design and develop features empowering customer support and success teams to utilize AI effectively.

Construct platforms powering Pylon's AI capabilities, including search infrastructure and prompt executions.

Build prototypes, iterate rapidly, ship quickly, and work independently across multiple workstreams.

Enhance LLM observability by implementing offline and online AI evaluations and scorers to prepare the system for future scaling.

Translate customer requirements into technical decisions within the codebase utilizing strong product sense.

Requirements

Possess three or more years of experience building product features with robust full-stack fundamentals.

Actively leverage artificial intelligence for software development.

Bring prior startup experience and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.

Demonstrate strong product sense and a growth mindset geared toward continuous improvement and feedback.

Reside in San Francisco or be willing to relocate, with a commitment to working in-person.

Nice to Have

Practical experience using the company tech stack featuring React, Golang, GraphQL, and AWS.

Prior experience building production-grade agentic products.
