The Software and Integration Architect position at Smarsh is a remote, full-time opportunity within the Shared Services department. This impactful role suits an experienced technical leader ready to shape the software and integration architecture connecting operational systems and multiple product platforms.

As the technical lead for custom application development, this professional delivers solutions for internal and external users across the business. Responsibilities include overseeing systems responsible for product provisioning, tracking over $120M in annual revenue, and facilitating reliable telemetry data flow. The position demands a hands-on approach, combining general software and cloud architecture with comprehensive integration ownership across IT and Operations.

Key Responsibilities

Define and execute software and integration architecture connecting Smarsh operational systems and numerous product platforms.

Serve as technical leader for custom application development on the custom IT platform.

Oversee provisioning systems, billing and revenue tracking, and telemetry data flow.

Own the end-to-end integration landscape across IT and Operations company-wide.

Lead the design and construction of scalable, cloud-native architectures utilizing microservices and modern web applications.

Help define, advance, and set standards for the AI-SDLC methodology, integrating AI models and coding tools into the software development lifecycle.

Collaborate closely with all areas of the business to guarantee seamless connectivity across various platforms and services.

Requirements

Strong system design skills spanning backend services, cloud infrastructure, and user-facing applications.

Expert-level AWS and software architecture capabilities.

Hands-on coding and technical execution experience alongside the development team.

Willingness to stay invested in the evolving AI landscape, utilizing models such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Ollama.
