Key Responsibilities

Design and execute the complete organic search strategy encompassing technical optimization, content direction, and offpage initiatives.
Lead, mentor, and structurally develop the internal search team to encourage accountability and professional growth.
Coordinate the strategic roadmap, prioritizing tasks based on key performance indicators and direct business impact.
Collaborate alongside communications, product, technology, and design departments to advance search projects.
Oversee technical fundamentals including crawlability, site architecture, core web vitals, indexing, and structured data.
Formulate a data-driven content and link-building plan focusing on authority, topic clusters, and expertise guidelines.
Construct a generative engine optimization framework for visibility inside artificial intelligence engines and large language model citations.
Monitor marketing and search developments to experiment with new opportunities and report performance metrics to leadership.

Requirements

Bring five to seven years of professional organic search optimization background with verified traffic and lead generation growth.
Possess two to three years of management experience building, mentoring, or scaling search teams.
Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge across technical optimization, onpage factors, content frameworks, and link acquisition.
Show technical literacy through cooperation with developer squads and familiarity with web standards and application programming interfaces.
Exhibit familiarity with artificial intelligence workflows and optimization for machine learning-based search tools.
Communicate fluently in both German and English with an analytical, entrepreneurial, and hands-on working style.
