Role Overview
As an SEO/GEO Team Lead at Siege Media, you will act as the primary owner for client relationships and search optimization strategies from start to finish. Rather than managing a team of internal employees, you will independently build plans, execute the required work, and present findings directly to world-class clients. This full-time position operates on a remote basis and allows you to guide online growth across diverse industries.
Key Responsibilities
Build comprehensive SEO and GEO strategies, execute deliverables, and lead client calls to present completed work and explain its impact.
Formulate strategic roadmaps based on client KPIs, competitive research, site audits, and industry expertise.
Suggest and implement search best practices across eCommerce, Fintech, and SaaS sectors.
Audit and optimize high-value product, service, and landing pages to balance search rankings, AI citations, and on-page conversion.
Examine site code to identify technical hurdles related to page speed, architecture, crawling, and indexing.
Produce clear checklists for every deliverable that highlight expected opportunity, lift, and ownership for developers and clients.
Coordinate content creation by writing optimized briefs and drafting effective web copy for marketing sites.
Perform weekly performance analyses using Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, and Peec AI, compiling insights into Data Studio reports.
Create professional Google Slides, Sheets, and Docs that tell a compelling story and drive recommendations.
Brainstorm tests and experiments to elevate traditional and AI search presence, content quality, and user experience.
Requirements
3 to 5 years of professional experience working in an SEO or GEO role.
Practical experience analyzing websites using Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics 4, Google Search Console, and AI tracking platforms like Peec AI.
Background in tracking and reporting AI search visibility, including share of voice, citation rates, and AI-referral traffic.
Technical background with demonstrable problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
Experience conducting full site audits and translating findings into actionable recommendations.
Deep familiarity with eCommerce, Fintech, and SaaS clients, alongside an understanding of how search engines and AI bots crawl, index, and rank pages.
Comfortable utilizing LLMs to streamline search workflows and enhance efficiency.
Strong interpersonal skills with a history of managing client relationships and delivering polished outputs.
Excellent project management abilities to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, and work independently.
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript alongside an eye for strong web design.
Nice to Have
Experience using project management tools such as Basecamp or Productive.
Familiarity with large eCommerce websites and content management systems like WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or a headless CMS.
2 to 3 years of prior experience working within an agency environment.
Background in product feed optimization and agentic commerce.

Annual salary range of $85,000 to $95,000 in USD, dependent on experience.
